LMRA announces termination of monthly work fees

In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to support the private sector as the main engine of growth, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has announced the termination of monthly work fees and fees for issuing and renewing work permits for a period of three months, starting from 1 April 2020. New offices for labour disputes

LABOUR complaints can now be filed at two new offices opened by the country’s labour watchdog yesterday.

The ‘Labour Claims Departments’ at the Expat Protection Centre in Sehla and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) branch in Riffa will register all labour-related disputes, including non-payment of wages. Continue reading
