Chairman of LMRA recieves the award from the Deputy Prime Minister

LMRA website www.lmra.bh was a winner of Bahrain eContent Award 09 in eGovernment category.

This award is the third in the history of the 2 years old website of LMRA, the first WSA award of excellence 2007 in Italy - Venice and the second was the award of the best econtent award held by Bahrain eGov Authority in 2008.

IT was good to know that there will be a final decision about housewives’ work visas. It will be a great help if Labour Market Regulatory Authority provides visas. No one will work illegally here.

20,000 urged to legalise status

ABOUT 20,000 expatriates whose residence visas have not been renewed must legalise their stay before the end of this month, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) said yesterday.

It urged all business owners and government organisations to verify and complete their expatriate labour records before March 31. (more…)
