Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the National Committee for Combatting Trafficking in Persons, H.E. Mr. Jamal Abdulaziz AlAlawi received at his office LMRA’s Advisor for Training Mr. Kaderi Abdulhameed Rizq, on the occasion of his new assignment as Chief of the Regional Centre of Excellence and Capacity Building for Combatting Trafficking in Persons.

H.E. Mr. AlAlawi lauded Mr. Rizq’s vast experience in the area of training, which spans over 25 years, during which he held several positions relevant to his field. He wished him success in managing and developing the operations of the center, towards achieving its aims and objectives that range from fostering capabilities and developing specialized training programs targeting first responders in governmental and non-governmental entities, who may deal with victims and potential victims of trafficking, given the nature of their work. That, as well as its role in conducting research and studies, in addition to document effective practices of combatting trafficking in persons.

It is worth-mentioning that Mr. Rizq holds Masters’ Degree in Leadership and Management Studies from University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He worked for over 12 years as the Head of Leadership & Management Skills Learning Centre at Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), after serving as Acting Training Manager – Management Skills for Gulf Air’s Commercial Training Division.

Additionally, Mr. Rizq conducted several studies on training requirements, to develop refined training programs for senior and junior staff members. He also was an active member of the Quality Assurance Systems Analysis Review (QASAR) in Gulf Air, in addition to participating as an accredited evaluator in more than 30 workshops, where he evaluated and sharpened the skills of more than 300 employees.
